Vintage Hand‑Painted Heron & Reeds Mirror in Solid Wood Frame

A beautifully hand‑painted mirror featuring a heron standing among tall reeds, painted directly onto the glass so the artwork sits softly over the reflection. Likely created in the 1970s, it has the gentle character of late‑mid‑century wildlife art. The paintwork is in lovely condition, with age‑related scuffs and a few white emulsion specks to the solid wood frame. The back is secured with cardboard and brown parcel tape, probably an old repair, and the original screw‑in metal loops with cord remain in place.
