Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden Cat Figurines | Matching Pair

This charming pair of vintage hand-carved wooden cat figurines showcases a distinctive folk-art aesthetic. Crafted from a single piece of solid wood, each sculpture features a stylized, elongated form with a gracefully arched back, a curved tail, and an expressive, tilted head. The wood is finished in a warm, dark brown hand-painted tortoiseshell pattern, beautifully accented with crisp white painted details on the chest, paws, tail tips, and inner ears. Delicate, fine plastic whiskers add character to their hand-carved faces. The taller cat stands at an impressive 49 cm, while the smaller companion stands at 40 cm, creating a perfectly balanced decorative duo for a shelf, mantel, or hearth display.

The figurines are in excellent vintage condition with a solid, sturdy weight. The hand-painted finishes remain bright and intact, showing minimal age-related surface wear and faint scuffs consistent with careful display. Please see photos of damage to the smaller cat's ear.
