Mid‑Century Teal Drip‑Glaze Studio Pottery Pitcher
£28.00
This mid‑century studio pottery pitcher is finished in a beautiful teal drip glaze that shifts from deep green at the base into lighter ocean‑blue tones toward the rim. The glossy surface catches the light softly, revealing the layered movement and fluidity that define handmade ceramics of the 1960s and 1970s. Its sculptural silhouette — rounded body, elegant arched handle and gently heart‑shaped spout — gives it a quiet presence that works beautifully in a styled vignette or on open shelving.
The base is unglazed with a white stoneware rim, a detail that reinforces its studio‑made origins rather than factory production. There is a tiny chip on the spout rim, discreet and noted for accuracy, but the glaze remains smooth and beautifully preserved. The piece stands at 18cm tall, with an 11cm width and a 16cm span from handle to spout, giving a balanced proportion that also makes it ideal for some stems.
